Dream Theater wrapped up their 2024 tour with their rendition of the Christmas classic “O Holy Night,” for the first time in 26 years.

The prog-metal outfit brought the track out during the encore of their recent show in Santiago, Chile. According to Setlist.fm, prior to the Chile show, Dream Theater hadn’t performed “O Holy Night” since 1998.

Dream Theater’s tour celebrated the band’s 40th anniversary, and also marked their first live run following their 2023 reunion with founding drummer Mike Portnoy. They’ll launch a U.S. tour in 2025.

The new year will also bring new music from Dream Theater, who will drop their first album with Portnoy in 16 years: Parasomnia, due out Feb. 7.
