You may remember Joe Jackson for hits including “Is She Really Going Out With Him?,” “Steppin’ Out,” and “Breaking Us in Two.” They’re an important part of his musical legacy, but only a tiny bit of what he’s been up to these last 30-plus years. His 2012 album The Duke was a tribute to jazz master Duke Ellington, and in 2016 he released Fast Forward, a collection of original songs recorded in New York (his longtime home base), Amsterdam, Berlin, and New Orleans, and inspired by each.
Joe Jackson will bring his vast and varied repertoire to the Capitol Theater at Overture Center on Wednesday, June 21, in a show presented by True Endeavors.
