TUESDAY 11/19:
Building Bots – Robotics & Engineering Fun Lab. 5:30-7:30pm. 3rd-8th grade. Building Bots classes enable students to develop skills in critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving while they complete engineering challenges, robotic design, and inventive projects. A variety of robotics equipment is used, including LEGO WeDo 2.0s, LEGO Mindstorm EV3s, LEGO SPIKE (prime and essential), Osmos, Spheros, Tello Drones, and Ozobots as well as different themes each month. Wagner Noel Volunteer Recruitment Event. Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. 6:30-8pm. Learn what is expected of volunteer ushers, and the role they play, understand how to become a volunteer usher, hear from current volunteer ushers, and get a tour of the building. WEDNESDAY 11/20:
Art Tales. Ellen Noel Art Museum. 1-1:30pm. Free! Art-loving preschoolers ages 3-5 and their grown-ups are invited to enjoy a beautifully illustrated story and art activity. This week’s story will be “My Name is Elizabeth” by Anika Dunklee. Little ones will be entertained by the whimsical story of Elizabeth, who has an excellent pet duck, a loving granddad and a first name that’s just awesome. After all, she’s got a queen named after her! After the story, children will get to participate in an art activity inspired by Floyd’s adventures. DETAILS HERE.

Third Thursday Reading program. 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. A guest speaker will read the featured book, Pete the Cat: Falling for Autumn by Kimberly and James Dean. Sensory Friendly Movie. Midland and Odessa Cinergy. 9:30am. Enjoy a family friendly film at no cost for attendees in an auditorium dedicated to guests and their families affected by autism and sensory processing disorders.
