After appearing to tease a new song called “Starcatcher” earlier this week, Greta Van Fleet has announced a new album by that name.
Starcatcher, the third full-length effort from the “Highway Tune” rockers, arrives July 21. It’s the follow-up to 2021’s The Battle at Garden’s Gate.
The first single off Starcatcher is called “Meeting the Master,” and you can listen to it now via digital outlets.
“‘Meeting the Master’ peers into an esoteric world heeded by the word of a wise teacher,” GVF says. “Sung in the voice of a devout believer, and eventual group exclamation, the song details the love these fervent followers have for their teacher and their firm belief in his vision.”
